What is a drywall assistant?

Drywall assistants are entry-level workers who help skilled drywall installers with tasks such as preparing materials, measuring and cutting drywall, lifting and positioning sheets, and cleaning up job sites. Drywall assistants play a crucial role in ensuring that installation projects run smoothly and efficiently while developing the skills needed to advance in the construction field.

Attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are valuable soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities are crucial for delivering precise, efficient work and ensuring safety on construction sites.
