Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Ensure the safe delivery of Dry Ice from our warehouse to our customers. Primary customers are Hospitals, food Processors, medical labs. Drivers are responsible for the Safe and Efficient movement of commercial vehicles owned and operated by Continental Carbonic. This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Essential Functions

Safe loading and unloading of Dry Ice containers. Practice safe driving techniques on a daily basis while operating commercial vehicles operated by Continental Carbonic. Reporting of all accidents and unsafe acts/conditions (near misses) while performing normal duties.  Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures as well as company employment policies and practices Understand all company standard operating procedures, departmental work instructions, and local work instructions that affect the performance of their duties.  Log into and maintain all XRS electronic logs each day.
