Job description

The Garment Finisher plays a crucial role in ensuring the final quality and presentation of garments. Working within a small team of 2-5 people and reporting directly to the Production Manager, this position involves inspecting fabric, pressing, and applying quality control measures to guarantee finished products meet company standards. The role requires daily shift work and hands-on operation of both standard pressing equipment and automated finishing machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect fabric to identify defects and ensure quality
  • Press garments to achieve a polished, finished appearance
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the finishing process
  • Fold garments accurately for packaging and shipment
  • Operate pressing and automated finishing machines efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in garment finishing a plus but will train
  • Knowledge of garment finishing techniques and textile handling
