Title: Full-Time House Manager & Family Assistant
Location: Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $29-$34/hour based on experience
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-8:00 PM with midday break [EXAMPLE WEEKDAY SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday. 7 AM-10 AM and 2 PM-7 PM (downtime/off between 10 AM - 1:30/2 PM) ] ;
  • Saturday evenings 6:00-11:00 PM
  • These are ideal hours for our family but we can be flexible for the right fit

Requirements: Can maintain a smoke-free environment, pass background check, has transportation (family car available for use during errands and child pick ups)

We are a warm, active family of six with four children (ages 14, 12, 9, and 7) attending three different schools and a schedule that changes daily. With a busy household, we're looking for a steady, proactive, and exceptionally organized House Manager & Family Assistant who can help us streamline our home life. We've had help before, but are now ready for someone who can truly take ownership, create systems, and keep things running smoothly without constant direction.

  • Communicative, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions
  • Comfortable managing varied tasks in a fast-paced, busy household with four school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization
  • Maintain daily tidiness throughout the home and prep for cleaning services
  • Establish household organizational systems (e.g., closets, storage, pantry)
  • Maintain household organizational systems
  • Conduct seasonal swaps and growth exchanges of children's clothing
  • Assist with family's packing/unpacking for trips
  • Prep for guests, family gatherings, or entertaining
  • Coordinate donations and manage ongoing home projects
  • Supervise service providers/vendors and let them into the home (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
Inventory & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, household items, toiletries, etc.
  • Handle shopping (Amazon, Target, Costco), returns, and dry cleaning
  • Use family vehicle for errands and child pickup/drop-off as needed
  • Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries
Meal Prep & Grocery
  • Plan and prep 3-4 healthy family dinners per week (Mom is gluten-free, as a family we prefer simple, clean eating with a protein focus and accompanying starch and salad/vegetable: chicken, salmon, tacos, etc.)
  • Pack school lunches (2 per day)
  • Keep snacks stocked and organized
  • Clean kitchen post-meal prep and keep food zones organized
Laundry & Linens
  • Wash, fold, and organize all household laundry including bedding and towels
  • Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
Driving & Vehicle Management
  • Drive kids to/from school and activities as needed (must be comfortable driving a large SUV)
  • Manage basic car care: fill gas, keep tidy, coordinate service/maintenance
  • Track registration, insurance, and service schedules
Child & Family Support
  • Assist with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offs
  • Supervise after-school down time and limit screen time, be comfortable with child's friends coming over to the home
  • Prep kids' school backpacks, clothing, or snacks
  • Provide Saturday evening childcare
  • Help with child-related errands, laundry, and organizational tasks
Special Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Tackle occasional deep cleaning: fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.
  • Refresh high-traffic zones like mudroom, garage, and entry
  • Maintain humidifiers, air purifiers, washing machines
  • Organize special projects: child clothing swaps and storage, seasonal decorations, gear rotation, etc.
  • Oversee and help maintain outdoor spaces and maintenance needs (e.g., covering outdoor furniture when needed)

The Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-8:00 PM (with off hours from approx. 10:00 AM-1:30/2:00 PM) Saturday evenings: 6:00-11:00 PM
  • Occasional weekend or event prep required with advance notice

Compensation & Details:
  • Hourly Rate: $29-$34/hour (based on experience)
  • Family vehicle (large SUV) provided for driving-related tasks
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work
