JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Global Education & Artistry Programs will lead, manage and direct strategies for Global Education & Artistry programs and digital platform driving content and user engagement. Primary responsibilities focus on the synergistic development of targeted content that reinforces the brand's unique perspective, enhances access and builds engagement of the internal Global teams.
These programs provide access to NARS product information, NARS selling/service approach and artistry techniques that drive sales performance and productivity. The role aligns with the Executive Director, Global Education & Artistry to conceptualize, devise, and adapt subject matter in tandem with seasonal priorities, programs and materials.
The position works closely with Global Marketing and Product Development to drive alignment and execution on all Education initiatives as well as the Global Digital Strategy & Social Engagement and e-Commerce teams to ensure content is current and optimizes brand and industry trends and activities. This position operates in a team-oriented environment and partners with US and International Sales, to drive successful execution of all Education initiatives on a global basis.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
    • Lead, manage and direct the strategies for the Global Education & Artistry digital platform supporting NARS Artists and NARS Field teams in all selling environments. Ensure timely and appropriate information is communicated among the proper channel and measured for user engagement and feedback:
    • Define and execute strategies for the internal NARS digital channel
    • In collaboration with Executive Director, Global Education and Artistry, establish baselines, benchmarks, and goals to determine investments of time and resources
    • Devise content calendars that reflect a variety of animations and activations
    • Design content for all levels of users
    • Oversee track and evaluate user data to measure engagement and traction
    • Conduct on-going statuses with Global markets to confirm access, usage and functionality
    • Maintain consistent communication relative to market administrative responsibilities to manage user fees
    • Monitor market translation process to ensure priority languages are implemented
    • Act as point person in partnership with the Global Digital team, for Education and Artistry specific requests related to local market Education Instagram account requirements and content related questions.
    • Seek new methods to elevate and advance functionality, Artist performance and brand growth
      • Oversee negotiation of costs with vendor related to on-going development and enhanced features
      • Partner with Digital Associate role to support timely updates and plans to maximize user engagement
      • Liaise with other SAC brands to expedite all aspects of performance and productivity
    • Global Programs
    • Ownership and management of developmental programs in collaboration with Executive Director, Global Education & Artistry
    • Responsible for Onboarding programs and materials including manuals, formats and ppt. Lead content development for seasonal training materials
    • Define and oversee artistry features including trends, imagery to support, artistry in action videos for use across platforms and selling activities
    • Inform and influence team with data-based engagement and feedback results
    • Lead the planning and execution of the Global/Regional Meetings
    • Define timing, content, activities and potential external speakers/performers
    • Oversee logistics including securing venue (where applicable) and attendee communication
    • Align within budget
    • Manage recognition program planning and execution
    • Determine and source experiences and activities
    • Oversee budget, logistics and attendee communication

    Video
    • Define and align concepts and composition of video projects for digital sites to elevate and expand artistry and selling skills
    • Create and manage video production schedule to reflect brand activities
    • Identify internal talent to support/perform in videos
    • Partner with Global Marketing and Film teams on corporate video projects to provide selling and artistry insights

    Tools
    • Contribute to the conceptualization and design of selling and artistry tools that reflect brand category objectives
    • Secure feedback from Markets on needs and measure global feasibility
    • Partner with Creative, Project Management and external vendors on design, artwork and materials
    • Oversee timing, execution and distribution of tools
    • You will perform other duties as assigned.

WHO YOU ARE
      • Minimum 7 years experience in corporate beauty/fashion industry, preferably including Regional leadership experience
      • Experience in program development and writing onboarding and seasonal materials supporting varied retail selling environments
      • Experience in management and support of eLearning programs
      • Experience in managing departmental budget
      • Exceptional communication skills (presentation/written)
      • Superior attention to detail, highly organized, flexible and able to function in a fast-paced environment
      • Self-motivated, results oriented, equally strategic and creative
      • Ability to establish strong working relationships
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, InDesign
      • You will perform other duties as assigned

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
