Job Summary for this role:
  • The Maintenance Technician takes pride in their work and is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple locations. This role requires general technical skills in building maintenance and building functions with the ability to travel to different sites to address service requests efficiently and safely.
General Accountabilities:
  • Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks under direct supervision
  • Execute basic work across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and interior/exterior repairs
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial properties
  • Diagnose issues and complete repairs using appropriate tools, manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Order necessary parts, supplies, and equipment to complete maintenance tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas as needed
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, including labor and material costs
  • Travel to various job sites to respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices and multiple trades with 1-2 years of related experience in building, operations, or maintenance performance/upkeep
  • General abilities in maintenance work across disciplines including the ability to read and interpret technical documents such as basic blueprints and manuals
  • Must be proficient with basic computer skills to generate email and text messages
  • Active Driver's License with clean driving record and ability to travel from office daily.
Physical Requirements
  • Site Environment - site work will require ability to navigate uneven project site terrain, ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, walk up and down stairs, ability to lift 50 lbs
