Job description

Kett Engineering, established in 1953, a leader in the automotive testing industry is in need of Test Drivers on the 1st shift to work at a customer testing sight just outside of Lake Forest, CA .

Description:

Run test routes around Long Beach area to cover sea level, urban, rural (gravel) and mountain driving. Each of the multiple routes are designed to run about 8 hours. No deviation from the given routes. Printouts of the Turn-by-Turn routes will be provided. The driver will start laptop routing of each shift twice per day. Once at the start of shift and again after their lunch break. Driver involvement is limited strictly to vehicle operation and unexpected operational issue reporting. Small towing apparatus testing as well.

We are seeking people who have flexibility as to when you can work and are able to work.Vehicle testing background is preferred but not required. Computer skills are a MUST.

1st Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

*Project to run for 12-13 weeks

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for the job are:

  • Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Open to work weekends if needed
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Clean Driving Record (36 month History required)
  • 5 Years licensed driving experience required
  • Must pass Drug Test and Background Check
