Drop Off Logistics is a locally owned and operated Amazon DSP dedicated to providing exceptional delivery service to our community over the holiday season. Drop Off Logistics is currently looking to hire motivated, hard working deliver drivers to join our team. We are dedicated to delivering every last package to each customer daily. Job Description

Compensation: $21.00/HR

Shift Time(s): 4 10-hour shifts, 1 mandatory weekend day,

As a Delivery Driver at Drop Off Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community!

You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: 9817 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte NC 28269

General Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road

  • Be able to complete 150-200 stops a day.

  • Experience not required, though encouraged.

  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle

  • Interact in a positive and a professional manner with customers and general public while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations

  • Keep pace in VERY physically demanding job

  • Follow up on customer requests or problems with solution-oriented approach, keeping customer informed of delivery progress

  • Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer expectations

  • Where appropriate, carry out in delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks

  • Provide rescue assistance to other drivers once the driver has completed his/her route for the shift 

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Ability to complete 150-200 stops a day
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions 

Additional Information

Work Environment

  • Drives a delivery van with a weight rating of up to 10,000 pounds to many customer residences and businesses, climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions

  • Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction, or other factors

  • Full-time hours consisting of 40+ hours a week (8-11 hours/day). There may be adjustments including, additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year and peak seasons and other factors
