Job description

Advance your surveying career where your work leverages cutting-edge drone and LiDAR technology to support infrastructure and land development projects across the Southeast. What you'll do
• Acquire LiDAR data using UAVs and mobile platforms and process raw data into accurate point clouds
• Lead and mentor drone pilots on FAA regulations, operational best practices, and safety protocols
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate LiDAR systems, UAVs, and related survey equipment
• Develop expertise in LiDAR data acquisition, processing workflows, and emerging industry technologies
• Coordinate with Survey Project Managers to improve workflows and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Assist in managing the Drone Program, including pilot training, certifications, and regulatory compliance
• Continuously improve standard operating procedures, workflows, and safety standards
• Support project teams by delivering accurate and timely geospatial data
What you bring
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License required
• Working knowledge of FAA drone regulations and airspace requirements
• Knowledge of LiDAR systems and land surveying practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
