Our aviation division plays a vital role in supporting our business endeavors and providing safe and efficient transportation for our executives and personnel. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Pilot to join our team.

Position Overview

The PIC Pilot will be responsible for assisting the Chief Pilot in the safe and efficient operation of our company aircraft, a PC12NGX. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and logistics of our passengers’ needs while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Must be capable, experienced, and knowledgeable in all aspects of flight planning, including route selection, weather analysis, and fuel calculations
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and all systems are functioning correctly
  • Perform pre-flight briefings with the Captain/SIC to review flight details, emergency procedures, and passenger requirements
  • Assist in the loading and securing of cargo and baggage to ensure proper weight distribution and balance
  • Monitor aircraft systems during flight and promptly report any abnormalities or malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Maintain effective communication with air traffic control and other relevant parties to ensure safe and efficient airspace management
  • Assist and provide in conducting passenger briefings and providing exceptional customer service throughout the flight
  • Collaborate with the crew to handle any in-flight emergencies or unforeseen circumstances with professionalism and efficiency
  • Purchase and organize cabin stock, catering, and passenger amenities
  • Update EFB’s and aircraft documents
  • Assist the Chief Pilot in the collection of flight times, passenger logs, and other data essential to the department
  • Assist in non-flying duties pre and post-flight which will include stocking aircraft, basic cleaning of the aircraft exterior, interior, and hangar common areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Participate in recurrent training and proficiency checks to maintain currency and proficiency in aircraft operation
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 3500 total flight hours
  • Minimum of 1500 hours of turboprop flight time
  • Minimum of 500 hours in the Pilatus PC12
  • Valid First or Second-Class Medical Certificate (1st class preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel requirements
  • Commitment to safety and professionalism
  • Valid Passport with ability to travel without restrictions
  • Ability to legally work within the United States
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs to a height of 5’
Preferred Qualifications
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate ratings
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Second-in-Command (SIC) on corporate or charter aircraft preferred.
  • Experience flying the PC12NGX or similar type aircraft.
  • Previous experience in corporate aviation.
  • Additional type ratings and/or flight instructor certification preferred.
  • No previous accidents, incidents, FAA disciplinarian action, DUI convictions, or drug violations
Location

The position is based at our Gainesville, GA headquarters, with frequent travel to various domestic and international destinations as required by business needs. Must live within 1hr of Gainesville, GA.
