Job Description:
SUMMARY
Provides instructional training related to the Drone program for the Public Safety Training Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for providing instruction and preparing lesson plans for established curriculum
  • Delivers training related to the Drone Training program
  • Continually promotes students' development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, customer service, computation, problem solving, and decision-making
  • Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
    • Significant related experience may substitute for education
  • Minimum of four years UAS operations experience and knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word Processing and PowerPoint Presentation software, as well as Internet and Email basic skills
  • Ability to assess and grade the progress of students

Special Note: This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining UnitPosition, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $25.00/ hour.
Pooled Position - If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
