North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for a self-motivated and experienced CDL Truck Driver to represent NCU in the semi-trailer industry.
North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory of Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a "One Stop Shop" for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections, to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.
This position is a safety-sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver, pick up and move semi-trailers for the organization
• Perform driving assignments, maintaining established company and industry standards
• Under the direction of ownership, responsible for all aspects of truck driving services, for managers, staff, and customers
• Ensure outstanding truck driving services safely, consistently, and on schedule
• Ensure regular truck maintenance for optimum driving performance and safety
• Keep the NCU truck neat, clean and organized
• Work effectively as a team member
• Experience driving a tandem-axle day cab
• Proficiency in reading, communicating, and following internal procedures and documentation, familiarity with using an electronic logging device (ELD)
• The ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally and 15-30 pounds consistently
• The position requires frequent sitting and driving
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Truck driving experience required
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR driving record is required
• Experience driving a tandem-axle day cab preferred
• Driven & self-motivated
• Proficient with technology and familiarity using an electronic logging device (ELD) preferred
• Maintain professionalism in dealing with all levels within the organization
Driving Requirements:
• Driving is a duty of this job
• Valid class A CDL required
• Driver's license with a clean driving record required
