Job Title: CDL Driver (Hazmat & Tanker)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to handle daily routes between Alabama and Tennessee. You will operate CDL vehicles for scheduled deliveries, transport hazardous and liquid cargo in compliance with regulations, and support warehouse operations by handling, loading, and preparing products for shipment. This position offers daily home time while combining driving responsibilities with hands-on warehouse work.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries between Alabama and Tennessee.
  • Transport hazardous materials and liquid cargo in full compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
  • Load and unload products from the truck, ensuring accuracy, proper handling, and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Assist in warehouse operations when not driving, including product handling, staging, and preparing loads for upcoming shipments.
  • Use forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed to move and organize freight.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and required documentation for each route.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, identify potential issues, and promptly report maintenance needs.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Consistently demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic in both driving and warehouse duties.

Essential Skills

  • Valid CDL license with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Valid CDL license with Tanker endorsement.
  • Experience driving commercial trucks, including flatbed trucks.
  • Ability to safely load and unload freight from trucks.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Pay and Benefits
