A growing company with locations in Tamaqua, Northampton, Mt. Carmel, Shippensburg and Ravena, New York is looking to fill several position openings for Hazmat CDL Drivers/Laborers. Highly motivated, quality drivers/laborers who provide excellent customer service and want to be part of a great organization. Early morning start times. Daily local runs and home every night and weekends, Class A or B (Hazmat Endorsement preferred).Requirements: Comply with all DOT, State and Local regulations, company and customer policies. Applicants will be considered for all 5 locations. Applicants must be able to drag/lift packages up to 55 pounds and drive standard shift vehicles. Position requires working outdoors. Previous experience working in construction is helpful. Benefits available after probationary period. Must be at least 18 yrs. old to apply. Hourly rate $ 15.00 - $35.00 /hr. depending on qualifications and experience, with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Employee is responsible for safe operation of a commercial vehicle to/from and on the job site.
  • Employee will be required to pass background checks, physical and secure a DOT medical card.
  • Employee will be working outdoors in all types of weather ex.-cold, heat, direct sun, rain, snow,
  • Employee will perform assigned tasks safely which include: lifting, climbing, shoveling and safe operation of assigned equipment.
  • Employee will be responsible for accurate and legible paperwork.
  • Good Attendance record

Qualifications and Skills

  • CDL Class A with Haz-Mat endorsement is preferred but willing to train/assist the right individual in obtaining a CDL and endorsements.
  • Construction experience is helpful.
