Job DescriptionRVA Deliveries is now hiring friendly, reliable, professional Package Delivery Drivers who want to work in a fast-paced, physical, outdoor position.
RVA Deliveries is a proud Amazon Delivery Service Partner that delivers packages to Amazon customers.
Each morning, we provide all the tools you’ll need for the day: a van, a device to log your packages, a dispatcher to assist you as necessary, and a leadership team dedicated to your success! You’ll need to bring a “can-do” optimistic attitude, and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with our clients and their customers.
We are partnered with Upwards! Childcare / Tutoring assistance for our drivers!
Hourly wage is $21.25 an hour. Overtime pay of $31.88 an hour after 40 hours per a week.

Responsibilities
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company vehicles
- Drive company vehicles to deliver packages to customers in a timely manner
- Comfortable using GPS technology
- Comfortable sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time (Including climbing stairs as required)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Must be able to physically enter and exit a vehicle up to and beyond 300 times per day, as you will have 150+ packages
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process efficiently.

QualificationsMinimum of 21 years of age due to driving of company vehicle
Must be able to commit 2 days consecutively for training.
- Valid Drivers license for at least 3 years with no more than-2 points on record
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs. and moving of packages as neede
