Job description

The Shred Delivery Driver is responsible for providing exceptional levels of customer service to our clients while taking care of all client document destruction needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review daily route schedule, confirm scheduling calls have been completed, and change route plans as necessary.
  • Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile based shredding equipment.
  • Advise client of security risk areas and ways to correct them, as needed.
  • Obtain electronic client signatures on required documents and upload.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
  • Perform mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment.
  • Adhere to shred team schedule including working up to eight (8) weekends per year for special client shred events.
  • Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma and two years of delivery driver or relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License, proof of personal insurance, and acceptable driving record, all to be maintained.
  • As a Marco authorized driver, you must comply with all applicable DOT regulations, including successful completion of medical and drug evaluations required to obtain and a DOT health card.
  • Meet and maintain NAID certification driver requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications including Outlook.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational and time/task management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities.
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision.
  • Superior in-person customer service and communication skills.
  • Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client-oriented team.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Pay Range:$18.76 - $27.20 hourly
