Operations Specialist
Thomasville, GA | $16.00 / Hour
We are in search of a reliable and hardworking Operations Specialist for a Thomasville document management company. This company is on a mission to improve the lives of others by providing a suite of innovative document management solutions. Our client company takes pride in the legendary client services they deliver which is why the Operations Specialist team member addition is a crucial role and asset for the company.
Responsibilities
  • Preform daily pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
  • Drive our Mobile Shredding Truck or 16’ Box Truck to transport materials from client and locations
  • Collect clients’ confidential documents for shredding in security bin(s)
  • Securely transport documents to mobile shredding unit or plant-based facility
  • Operate shredding equipment as per safety and security procedures
  • Inform Client Operations Coordinator of all developments that will affect timeliness and efficiency of completing the route
  • Properly note all changes to work orders and send using wireless scanner for SRS’s inventory management software
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures on a daily basis
  • Ensure superior customer service is delivered to clients, with minimum disturbance to their production
  • Perform end of day checklist including unloading of truck/bins and staging of route for the following day
  • Verify the accuracy and correctly closeout all work orders
  • Pull containers, files and tapes for delivery, destruction or relocation
  • Look for new opportunities to service existing clients and new potential clients while on the road relaying leads to the sales team
  • Help resolve any work order issues or discrepancies with the Client Operations Coordinator
  • Assist with training of new drivers
  • Assist with large-scale offsite projects sometimes requiring work on weekends
Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license, 21 years of age, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Clean criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to multitask various duties with accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to move, lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs. on a daily basis
  • Skill in reading maps and working knowledge of GPS
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Clean drug screen
  • Willing to undergo criminal background check

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
