Greencroft Communities is looking for a dependable and service-focused Laundry & Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Walnut Hills Campus. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and employees.

What You'll Do
As part of our housekeeping and laundry team, you will help keep resident living areas and campus facilities clean, organized, and well maintained.
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Clean resident rooms, apartments, common areas, restrooms, offices, and other campus facilities.
  • Complete routine housekeeping and environmental services tasks according to established cleaning and sanitation standards.
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and distribute resident clothing, towels, bedding, and other linens.
  • Handle soiled laundry and waste safely while following infection prevention and workplace safety procedures.
  • Operate and care for commercial laundry equipment, housekeeping equipment, carts, and supplies.
  • Keep laundry rooms, housekeeping closets, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Monitor cleaning and laundry supplies and communicate when additional inventory is needed.
  • Report equipment problems, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, accidents, or other issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Follow established infection control, sanitation, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
  • Provide respectful and courteous service while protecting each resident's privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
  • Work cooperatively with nursing, dining, maintenance, and other departments to support the needs of residents.
  • Participate in training and assist with emergency or special cleaning situations when needed.
  • Follow campus policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and dependable approach to daily work.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, custodial services, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living is preferred.
  • Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use scheduling, ordering, and Microsoft Office systems.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
