The Driver – Laundry is responsible for transporting linens, laundry, and supplies between properties or designated locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role supports the laundry and housekeeping team by ensuring efficient pickup, delivery, and handling of all items while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and adhering to safety guidelines.

Supervision Exercised: None

Supervision Received: Executive Housekeeper

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Prior driving, delivery, or transportation experience preferred.
  • Hospitality or laundry operations experience a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to follow routes, instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and load/unload items throughout the shift.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely transport linens, laundry, and supplies between hotel properties or laundry facilities.
  • Load and unload laundry carts, bags, and supplies efficiently and carefully.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Assist laundry and housekeeping teams with handling and organizing linen as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs.
  • Follow all company, brand, and safety guidelines, including lifting procedures.
  • Provide professional and courteous interactions with staff and vendors.
  • Ensure secure and proper handling of all items during transport.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
