Job Description
Driver Helper/Utility Worker
We are in search of a Driver Helper/Utility worker to join our growing team. The person in this is responsible for supporting drivers when on delivery. The helper would help with put-aways, taking merchandise into locations and any other needs at the time of delivery. As a utility worker you will take care of general maintenance and housekeeping of the facility, to include warehouse and office space. In addition to ensuring a clean and orderly facility.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist as a Driver Helper as requested by management; ride as a passenger in a Daycon delivery truck and assist Driver with delivering product and meeting customer needs.
  • Put products away into the proper locations a specific delivery location
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and perform other cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse, office and the exterior areas
  • of the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and vacuum common areas daily.
  • Remove trash and recycled materials from facility offices and warehouse and deposit into appropriate receptacles.
  • Assist warehouse associates with general warehouse tasks such as stacking boxes, grooming stock areas and providing material handling
  • assistance.

  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • 1-3 years warehouse or office maintenance experience preferred, not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well as a team, and independently.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull more up to 100 pounds.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, sit or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, such as cleaning chemicals.
  • The employee is regularly required to work in an office, warehouse, or outdoor environment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
  • ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this position, employees regularly work in warehouse/storeroom environments.
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and carry up to 75lbs. Frequently kneel, stand, and bend.

The pay range for this role is $23 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors.
