Your specific responsibilities also include helping to prepare and store equipment, such as hand trucks and dollies for moving large packages. Many driver helpers work for the large parcel delivery services, such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL, and they are often entry-level jobs where you get training before you can work as a delivery person yourself.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Driver Helper, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Driver Helper, you need physical stamina, basic math skills, and the ability to safely handle and move packages, often requiring a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with handheld scanners, GPS devices, and delivery management systems is commonly expected.
