What is a driver agent?

Driver Agents are professionals responsible for transporting passengers, vehicles, or goods from one location to another, often on behalf of companies or clients. Their duties may include ensuring timely and safe delivery, maintaining vehicles, and providing excellent customer service during the journey. Driver Agents may work in various industries, including car rental services, logistics, and chauffeur services. They often handle paperwork, coordinate schedules, and may assist with vehicle inspections or handovers. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and good communication skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a driver agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Driver Agent, you typically need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of local routes and transportation regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, dispatch software, and sometimes handheld communication devices is important for efficiency. Excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills help set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure timely, safe, and customer-focused transportation services, which are vital for client satisfaction and operational reliability.

How does a driver agent typically collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams during daily operations?

As a Driver Agent, you will regularly communicate with dispatchers to receive assignments, report on trip progress, and update schedules in real time. Collaboration with customer service teams is also common, especially when addressing client requests, resolving delivery issues, or handling special instructions. This teamwork ensures efficient routing, timely deliveries, and high customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential for seamless coordination across these departments.

Customer service skills and the ability to multi-task are a must - we promise you will never have a dull moment!

Our leasing agents work in a fast-paced environment, going from house to house to show the exciting spaces we have to offer in the Duluth/Superior area. If this describes you, we want to talk!

Leasing Agent Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must have use of a reliable, insured vehicle

Leasing Agent Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct showings at properties available for rent
  • Manage a calendar of showings and deliver property-specific information to prospective tenants
  • Guide prospective tenants through Heirloom's leasing process
  • Produce marketing materials
  • Writing and reviewing lease material
  • Conducting move-ins for new tenants

Leasing Agent Job details and key requirements:

  • Strong customer service experience required, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both in-person and in writing
  • Strong computer skills, including PC or Mac with experience in MS Office, Google, and web-based software
  • Experience with Appfolio is preferable
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend availability
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for daily travel to local properties

Leasing Agent Benefits Include:

  • Group Medical Insurance
  • HSA Insurance Option
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Company Paid Short and Long-Term Disability
  • Company Paid Life Insurance Plan
  • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
  • IRA Retirement Plan, with 3% Company Match
  • Health Reimbursement Plan
  • Dependent Care Spending Account

At Heirloom you'll have the freedom to grow as an individual and contribute to a vibrant culture with a meaningful purpose. We get out of bed in the morning to make our community a better place. If this sounds like a place you would fit, apply today! Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with your experience. Plus, we believe in great benefits for everyone in our company.
