Job Description

Trigyn's direct client is looking for Test Engineer for contract assignment in Chicago, IL.
General Responsibilities:
Schedule and implement automated software tests.
Identify and solve problems at the component or feature level.
Actively participates in multiple functional areas.
Propose methods for improvements.
Mentor others as necessary.
Understand the needs of customers and of groups dependent on the work of the team, and uses this understanding to drive test automation.
Code relatively complex tests to implement a test design.
Set up a test automation and execution framework.
Implement key steps that are used by several test cases.
Put together the key steps to build an automated suite of test cases.
Execute test cases and report results, collect metrics around testing, and create and manage testing schedules.
Involved from product inception, proactively look for potential quality issues, and contribute to Technical Reviews and Root Cause Analysis sessions.
Find and recommend industry standard testing methodologies and technologies.
Proactively identify and build effective solutions to complex technical problems.

Qualifications

5+ years Mentoring Junior QA Engineers

5+ years as a Sr. Test Engineer or Sr. QA Team Lead

5+ years with Automated Testing experience
