Job description

We're searching for a full-time, certified home inspector to evaluate properties and make sure they are up to code! You’ll assess all aspects of the home, take note of any damages that need to be repaired, and provide a full report for every client. Our ideal candidate is incredibly organized and enjoys helping people. $60,000 - $80,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Go through residential homes top to bottom to evaluate any observations.
  • Compile and organize inspection results into a report that will give all parties a clear understanding of any potential issues that were identified.
  • Make detailed notes for each home system so that the clients are both aware of every potential problem on the property.
  • Assist home buyers with any other requests regarding the home inspection to keep open lines of communication and adapt to meet their needs.
  • Respond to clients' inquiries quickly to keep them informed and to provide superb customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license and able to travel by car
  • Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form
  • Comfortable walking on roofs and climbing in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces
  • At least one year of work experience at a home inspection company or construction company
  • State licensed, where required, and certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)
  • 1+ year of previous work experience conducting home inspections or working in the construction field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills.
  • Must carry proof of South Carolina Home Inspector license.
  • Comfortable walking on roofs and climbing in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces.
  • Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form.
  • Attention to detail is critical in the role for both inspections and for reporting purposes.
  • Able to travel by car and possess a current U.S. driver’s license.
  • Have the desire to continue to learn and grow to gain more earning potential.
