Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
  • Administer IV medications and manage critical care drips in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Assess, monitor, and respond to a diverse patient population presenting with acute and emergent conditions
  • Document patient care accurately using the Paragon electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Float to a nearby emergency department on a rare, as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Proficiency in IV administration and critical care drip management
  • Experience in critical care settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior emergency department nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Paragon EHR system
  • Experience in a freestanding or high-volume emergency department environment
