Job description

What You Will Be Doing:
This position supports avionics research, development, prototype, production, test, and maintenance activities at the Patuxent Engineering Facility (PEF). This position is for a machinist/tool and die maker technician in the fabrication shop. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fabrication of panels, enclosures, and prototype and production parts metalwork.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including schematics, assembly drawings and interpreting digital 3D models and determining material requirements as needed to manufacture and assemble components in accordance requirements and engineering direction.
- Other tasks as directed by management
