We employ superintendents who live in a variety of counties in order to service projects across Southern California. Our projects are located throughout Southern California but are primarily in the counties of Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, IE and Orange Counties.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with the contract documents, design plans, budget and planned sequence of work

· Be aware of project milestone dates and the requirements to achieve them

·Have thorough knowledge of the contract documents and scope of work for each area or assigned trade.

· Develop an understanding of the duration of each activity

· Know the scheduled delivery dates for all material and equipment that have a direct effect on the area(s)/trade(s) assigned

· Supervise the field work force to ensure that all work is put in place in the most cost-effective manner

· Conduct regular, scheduled, and unscheduled safety inspections to ensure all working conditions and work habits are in compliance with company and OSHA standards

· Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all of the company's safety standards, manuals, and procedures

· Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

·Requires a good rapport while interfacing with client representatives, other contractors, governing officials, and our Project Management Team.

·Maintain logs, field records and drawings to comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office 365 and Microsoft Project desired.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining daily reports, photos and required documentation.
  • Responsible for creating and tracking RFI’s and submittals.
  • Able to create and update a project schedule.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experienced Superintendent for commercial projects
  • Commercial retail, restaurant and office experience desirable
