Job description

Description
We are looking for a passionate and driven Medical Assistant for our Tucson, AZ market representing a critical part of our care delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient evaluations and submit them to the Medical Director (wound pictures and wound measurements).
  • Responsible for drawing blood from patients
  • Confirm you have the proper supplies for patient visits for the provider, order supplies, and make sure supplies are properly stocked at all times
  • Assisting provider in procedures with direction from provider
  • Provide effective, efficient, professional, and timely communication with patients, family, coworkers, management and care partners.
  • Take notes from provider and input into EMR and other related documentation
  • Report to Director of Operations
  • Position consists of traveling to patient's homes
  • All other tasks and action items as requested and approved by leadership.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Medical Assistant Diploma
  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • Ability to and willingness to travel, treating patients in their homes.
  • Experience in Wound Care is a plus.
