Job Summary
Art of Drawers is looking for an experienced independent sales professional who is seeking a flexible, commission-only opportunity to generate substantial additional income.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position not a salaried or full-time role. There are no benefits, hourly pay, or guaranteed leads. This opportunity is best suited for a highly motivated closer who already has experience self-generating leads, running in-home appointments, and closing residential sales.
Our Designers help homeowners solve frustration and organization problems through custom pull-out drawers and storage solutions, as well as Cabinet Refacing and Lighting solutions. The role is consultative. Successful candidates know how to build trust, educate clients, and confidently close in-home sales opportunities.
This can be an excellent opportunity for:
  • Experienced in-home sales professionals
  • Kitchen, bath, closet, flooring, window, solar, remodeling, or home improvement salespeople
  • Self-employed sales professionals looking for additional income streams

Responsibilities
  • Self-generate leads and appointments through networking, referrals, prospecting, events, and relationship building
  • Conduct in-home design consultation appointments
  • Measure spaces and recommend organizational solutions
  • Build client trust through education and professionalism
  • Close sales and collect client deposits
  • Upload estimates, photos, measurements, and order details promptly
  • Represent the Art of Drawers brand professionally

Qualifications
  • Proven track record of self-generating qualified leads
  • Proven success closing in-home sales appointments

  • Self-motivated and highly independent
  • Comfortable working on a commission-only compensation structure

  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge, measuring systems, and technology tools
  • Previous experience in home improvement, remodeling, closets, kitchens, baths, windows, roofing, solar, flooring, or similar industries strongly preferred
