Job description

Job Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing preventive maintenance (PM) andtechnical services on CNC machines, mills, and lathes.

Job Duties:

•Repairs, maintains, and installs mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications

•Repairs any minor electrical malfunctions and carries out appropriate repairs

•If necessary, draw up a list of requirements with a detailed explanation of the materials or parts required

•Complies with safety precautions by systematically rectifying faults

•Ensures a clean and organized working environment in accordance with operational regulations

•Applies the principles of lean production, and other problem-solving procedures

•Participates in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot faults and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems related to device performance and failure rates

•Develops rapid repair and replacement procedures to minimize performance losses

•May participate in continuous improvement projects related to lean manufacturing

•Performs additional duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

•3 years of experience with maintenance on Automation/Conveyors/Lathe/Mill machines.

•Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

•Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

•Lift up to 40 pounds

•Stand and/or walk up to 12 hours
