Drain Cleaning & Repair TechnicianMr. Rooter Plumbing | Locally Owned & Operated

Tired of feeling like just another employee?
Come join a local plumbing company where your work matters, your effort gets noticed, and you can build a real career.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is looking for an energetic, dependable Drain Cleaning & Repair Technician to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, meeting new people, and being part of a team that likes to work hard and have fun doing it.
We're locally owned and operated, which means you're not working for some giant corporation where nobody knows your name. You'll work with a local team that lives in the same communities we serve.
We want people who want to learn, grow, make good money, and build a career with us.

What You'll Be Doing
Your main focus will be helping customers solve drain and sewer problems.
You'll:
  • Clear clogged kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and main sewer drains
  • Operate professional drain-cleaning equipment
  • Perform sewer and drain camera inspections
  • Diagnose drain and sewer problems
  • Perform drain and sewer repairs
  • Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations
  • Help customers understand what's causing their plumbing problem
  • Recommend solutions that actually solve the customer's issue
  • Keep your company vehicle, equipment, and tools clean and organized
  • Provide an awesome customer experience from the moment you arrive until the job is complete
Every day is different. One day you might be clearing a kitchen sink, the next you're running a sewer camera, repairing a drain line, or helping a homeowner figure out why their sewer keeps backing up.
If you like variety, problem-solving, and not being stuck behind a desk, you'll probably love this job.

Who We're Looking For
You don't have to know everything on day one.
We're looking for someone who:
  • Shows up on time and ready to work
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Enjoys working with people
  • Likes figuring out problems
  • Isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
  • Takes pride in doing quality work
  • Is comfortable working independently
  • Wants to learn new skills
  • Wants an opportunity to grow
  • Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Can pass a background check
Drain cleaning, plumbing, construction, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or other skilled-trade experience is a plus.
The right attitude and work ethic are just as important to us as experience.

Why Join Mr. Rooter?
We're building more than a plumbing company. We're building a place where great people can build great careers.
You'll be part of a LOCAL team.
We're locally owned and operated. When we grow, our employees grow with us.
You'll have room to grow.
Want to become a plumber? Learn sewer repair? Become a top technician? Move into leadership?
There are opportunities here for people who want them.
You'll have professional equipment.
We invest in the tools, technology, vehicles, and equipment needed to help our technicians succeed.
You'll work for a company customers trust.
Our technicians arrive in clearly marked company vehicles, and we stand behind the work we perform.
You'll never be bored.
This isn't an assembly-line job. You're traveling throughout the community, meeting different customers, diagnosing problems, and solving something new every day.
You'll be appreciated.
We believe great companies are built by great people. When somebody goes above and beyond, we want them to know it.
What Success Looks Like Here
The best people on our team aren't just great with tools.
They're people customers are happy to see.
They communicate.
They solve problems.
They help their teammates.
They take pride in their work.
And when they tell a customer something is going to be taken care of, they make sure it gets taken care of.

Come Build Something With Us
If you're looking for another job where you punch a clock and count the hours until Friday, this probably isn't the place for you.
But if you want to learn a valuable trade, work with a fun local team, help people every day, and build a career with a growing company, we'd love to meet you.
You might already be an experienced drain technician.
You might be working in construction, maintenance, landscaping, HVAC, or another trade and looking for something better.
Or you might simply be mechanically inclined and ready for an opportunity to prove yourself.
Either way, apply.

Your next career could start with Mr. Rooter Plumbing.
Join the Mr. Rooter team and help us take care of our neighbors—one drain at a time.
Apply today.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
