Drafter 2 Duration : 1 Year Client- Alabama Power Loaction- Birmingham, AL Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience required
- Associate's degree in Drafting is preferred
- Perform CAD drafting for:
- Boundary surveys
- Transmission line right-of-way (ROW) surveys
- Land tie surveys
- Prepare written descriptions, including:
- "Metes and bounds" descriptions
- "Centerline" descriptions for assigned projects
- Assist survey field crews and office personnel with:
- Researching existing survey and real estate records
- Contacting local and state agencies to gather right-of-way information
- Transmitting completed project files and documentation
