Job description

General Labor - Draft Line Technician

Position Summary

We are a leading beverage system installation and service company in the Salt Lake City area seeking a service-driven Draft Line Technician to support our on-premise customers. This role is responsible for draught system service, installation, maintenance, and customer support, while ensuring high-quality performance and customer satisfaction. The position may also assist with special event setup and execution.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, solving problems, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive, professional service to on-premise accounts and communicate effectively with customer staff
  • Install, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot draught beverage systems and lines
  • Diagnose and repair non-functioning or poor-pouring draught systems in compliance with state guidelines
  • Complete draught line installations and routine service calls
  • Maintain and manage inventory of draught knobs, service equipment, and special event materials
  • Manage and maintain company vehicle, tools, and service equipment
  • Track and document service activities, logs, and required reporting
  • Prioritize and manage multiple service requests independently while communicating daily progress and needs to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to learn through provided training
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Experience in beverage system installation or service

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and reach
  • Regularly climb into and out of a company vehicle
  • Frequently lift 45โ€“65 lbs
  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and technology
  • Close vision, color recognition, and ability to adjust focus for detailed work
