Position Description – Draft Technician

Reports to:

Position Objective:

The Draft Technician is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, troubleshooting and repairing customer draft lines and performing installations of equipment and materials within an assigned area with multiple accounts.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate product.
  1. Makes occasional keg deliveries to customers.
  1. Keeps equipment and vendor areas clean.
  1. Maintains draft lines by inspecting, cleaning and troubleshooting.
  1. Responsible for completing and submitting draft cleaning tracking reports.
  1. Lead and/or assist with Draft System installations.
  1. Assist with Special Event set-up, execution, and tear-down.
  1. Works with sales representatives to build draft market, as well as to build and expand knowledge of draft beer.

Required Skills:

  1. Customer service oriented.

  1. Solid organization and time management skills.

  1. Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

  1. Ride along/road test with Delivery Manager.

  1. Must have an acceptable MVR according to Company policy.

  1. Excellent written and oral communication.

  1. Strong attention to detail.

  1. Previous sales experience a plus.
