Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC)
Inglewood, California

Join Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a member of the Prime Healthcare system, as a Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide advanced overnight ICU care while expanding your procedural skills and collaborating with a high-performing Pulmonary and Critical Care team.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor (non-benefited)

  • Shift Options: Minimum 4 shifts/month (part-time) or 14 shifts/month (full-time)

  • Practice Scope:
    • Overnight ICU patient management and rounding
    • Rapid response and code coverage

    • Perform emergent procedures including central lines and intubations (training provided)
  • Support: 24/7 attending physician backup with full multidisciplinary team
  • Professional Growth: Transition-to-practice program with hands-on training and a one-year critical care curriculum

Qualifications

  • Board Certified ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC

  • Active California NP and DEA licenses (or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient NP experience (ICU or hospitalist preferred)

  • Strong clinical judgment, procedural interest, and commitment to patient-centered care
