Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to join their team in a direct-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for performing Delegated Product Release Verification (DPRV/DQR) in support of customer self-release programs, ensuring products meet all engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements prior to shipment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform product verification and release under customer self-release programs.
Review and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, including Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, and GE, as well as internal quality standards.
Maintain AS13001 (DPVR/DQR) certification requirements.
Review manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy.
Interface with customers regarding product acceptance and quality concerns.
Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions for product nonconformances.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Auditor role within manufacturing.
AS13001 Common Training certification for DPVR/DQR.
Experience working in ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
Familiarity with aerospace OEM customer requirements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with internal teams, customers, and external auditors.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
APQP experience is a plus.
Knowledge of automotive quality core tools, root cause analysis, and corrective actions preferred.
Valid U.S. Passport required.
