Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000

Location: MacDill AFB, FL

Summary: To provide Subject Matter Expert III (SME) Program Management and Labor necessary in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) is responsible for all USSOCOM research, development, acquisition, procurement, and logistics. SOF AT&L works with Government, academia, and industry in meeting its mission to provide rapid and focused acquisition, technology, and logistics support to Warfighters, delivering the most effective capabilities to our Special Operations Forces.

LAUKOA personnel will provide contractor support personnel to assist J4 in implementing and systematically maintaining the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Warehouse, Maintenance & Utilization (M&U), Registry, Property Accountability, Force Management, and Materiel Management modules across all Special Operation Forces supply support activities. DPAS is the only authorized Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) approved by the DOD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements USSOCOM Maintenance and Utilization (M&U) conversions and initial implementations in support of USSOCOM end user.
  • Transitions SOF customers from legacy supply and maintenance systems to the DPAS M&U module. Transition tasks include: (1) identifying scope of materiel to be converted, (2) providing a detailed review/scrub of the item data, (3) building the requisite master data tables in DPAS M&U, (4) identifying user certification requirements and licensing requirements, (5) determine the method of connecting M&U Module to either PA Module (bridging systems) or WM Module (linking systems). (6) perform loading of the master record data including establishing addresses, create certifications, establish operator/technicians, establish maintenance teams, create work plans, create work plan details, and establish work plan associations. (7) execute data validation/reconciliation, and (8) Monitor DPAS system and submit help tickets and/or identify system problems.
  • Manages the DPAS M&U Master Data Table. Actions appropriate data structure changes in DPAS M&U Master Table to accurately reflect asset data or customer/unit/contractor and maintenance repair facility structure data.
  • Perform M&U data inquiries and reports actions as required.
  • Employs matured interpersonal skills, such as action and solution-oriented approach to problem solving, to support DPAS implementation in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Employs the entire Microsoft Office Suite capability to produce manage workload requirements and provide administrative work products.
  • Actions the governments intent with little to no direct guidance to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure all personnel are current with any APSR required training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in logistics management, supply-chain, or business-related field
  • Minimum 7 Years of combined experience with DOD or other federal agency in Maintenance Operations, Program Management, Material Management or Logistics, INCLUDING:
  • Minimum 7 years experience as government warehouse manager
  • Minimum 7 years in personnel management of teams larger than twenty
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Major Command
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Logistics Information System
  • Prefer one year SOF experience with knowledge of USSOCOM enterprise, subordinate organizations, and Service roles and responsibilities
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Requires Secret Clearance on day one of performance
