Job Summary
At Malibu Jack’s, we create an exciting, clean, and safe entertainment experience for guests of all ages. Attraction Operators are responsible for the safe operation of assigned attractions, delivering exceptional guest service, and supporting overall park operations.
All Attraction Operators are considered Team Members and are expected to contribute to all areas of park operations through cross-training and shared responsibilities. Cross-training is a standard part of this role and supports operational flexibility. Cross-training does not automatically result in a pay increase but is required as part of team member expectations.
What You’ll Do
Attraction Operations amp; Safety
  • Operate multiple attractions safely and efficiently after completing required training
  • Enforce all height, safety, and participation requirements consistently
  • Explain attraction rules, guidelines, and safety procedures clearly to guests
  • Monitor attractions at all times to ensure guest safety
  • Know and execute emergency procedures for each attraction you are trained on
  • Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
Guest Experience
  • Provide friendly, high-quality customer service at all times
  • Assist guests with payment, entry, and attraction instructions
  • Answer guest questions and resolve concerns professionally
  • Escalate issues to management when appropriate
  • Maintain a positive, energetic, and safety-focused attitude
Team Responsibilities
  • Cross-train in other departments as assigned (arcade, front desk, food amp; beverage support, etc.)
  • Assist in other operational areas based on business needs
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership throughout your shift
Cleanliness amp; Facility Standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of attractions and surrounding areas
  • Wipe down surfaces, sweep, empty trash, clean restrooms, and complete assigned cleaning tasks
  • Respond promptly to spills or hazards to ensure a safe environment
  • Understand that cleanliness is every team member’s responsibility, regardless of primary position
  • Perform cleaning duties when assigned, even if a custodian is scheduled
