At Sibanye-Stillwater, every role supports our mission to operate safely, responsibly, and sustainably. We are seeking a Technician - Electronic Material Classification to support sorting, dismantling, and classification of electronic materials for processing within our refining operations.
This role focuses on identifying, separating, and preparing materials for downstream processing while ensuring safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently sort, classify, and dismantle electronic materials to support precious metal recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Sort, organize, and classify electronic materials for processing
• Dismantle electronics and components to recover valuable materials
• Identify different material types and understand processing requirements
• Work with a variety of materials and adapt to changing daily tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE at all times
• Support team operations to meet production goals
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Must be able to reliably commute to our Fairless Hills location as public transportation is not available
Compliance and Physical Requirements
• Must meet ITAR and NAID requirements
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and medical clearance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with required PPE
Schedule and Benefits
• Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
