Job description

This position is in Downriver MI Communities


Hours: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4 pm, Fridays 8 am - 2 pm


This position has the potential to make up to $200,000 yearly


General Summary:

Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the physician.

Works under the supervision of Dr. Kouba

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Example of Essential Duties:

  • Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis: Perform physical exams, take medical histories, and diagnose various skin conditions.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and administer treatments for skin conditions.
  • Procedures: Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and other minor surgical procedures.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and preventive measures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.

Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):

9. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Required:

- Active Physician License from the Michigan State Medical Board

- Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.

- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.

- Current BLS required.

Education:

- Master’s Degree and licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan
