Part-Time EVS Technician (Housekeeping) – Hospital Environment

Location: Downriver Hospital
Schedule: Day Shift – 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Status: Part-Time (2–3 Days per Week)

Position Summary
TMMG Building Services is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Environmental Services (EVS) team at a Downriver hospital. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in public and staff areas throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, waiting areas, offices, corridors, lobbies, conference rooms, and staff spaces.
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces following healthcare facility cleaning protocols.
  • Remove trash and replace liners throughout assigned areas.
  • Restock restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in designated areas.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and facility policies.
  • Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, EVS, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

Schedule Information

  • Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Scheduled 2–3 days per week
  • Workdays will vary based on facility needs.
  • No weekends required
