Job Summary:
DoubleLine is seeking a Desktop Support Technician responsible for providing support for hardware and software issues related to the firmโs user-facing systems. The role involves troubleshooting, solving, triaging, and escalating technical issues reported by the business.
Responsibilities:
โข Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
โข Troubleshoot and resolve user support requests
โข Triage support tickets and escalate to the appropriate teams as necessary
โข Develop technical documentation for resolving issues and supporting business processes
โข Review tickets to identify trends and offer proactive solutions
โข Create and manage accounts in Active Directory
โข Manage accounts, licenses, and services in Microsoft 365
โข Manage mobile devices in Microsoft Intune
โข Deploy new workstations and software
โข Onboarding and offboarding of employees
โข Management of user hardware inventory in the CMDB
โข Basic understanding of operating system components, process structure, file systems, registry hives, remote access, and event logging
Qualifications:
Required:
โข BS in MIS, CS, or related field
โข Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Help Desk or Desktop Support role
โข Experience working in a regulated environment where security and audit protocols are enforced
โข Experience with centralized endpoint management solutions (SCCM preferred)
โข Experience managing tasks out of an ITSM platform
โข Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
โข Experience administering Microsoft 365 and InTune
โข Outstanding initiative, work ethic, and attention to detail
โข Able to work independently with appropriate guidance in a deadline-driven environment
โข Team-oriented and must possess strong integrity and professionalism
โข Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify problems and offer solutions
