Job Summary:
Xylem is looking for a CDL A driver who will be responsible for safely delivering Xylem equipment to various customer locations in the South Windsor, CT surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Create and maintain safe working environment and culture within the organization

  • Take care of company property

  • Demonstrates high impact culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment

  • Must be able to function in a team environment

  • Usually works with minimal supervision, works independently


Requirements:
Two (2) overnight trips to Pittsburgh weekly
80%-90% travel depending on division & location (mix of local and longer distance with overnight stays)
Education & Experience Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent

  • Must have CDL class A

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to obtain TWIC/DOT Medical card

  • Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen

  • 1-2 years technical work experience preferred

  • Ability to drive overnight

  • Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution

**The estimated salary range for this position is $32 to $35/hourly.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location**
