Position Summary
This position is for a Laboratory Assistant in the NE Laboratory. The Assistant will be responsible for activities supporting the upkeep of the lab (including restoring and restarting an HPGe detector), preparations for the ENE2026 summer camp (including lab procedures), preparation for the Nuclear Criticality Safety Short Course and Manager's Course, and nuclear reactor upgrades.

Must be a Radiation Worker capable of completing required training and obtaining UNM dosimetry. Must be dependable and reliable with communication. Must have safe laboratory work habits. Familiarity with NE Laboratory and the UNM AGN-201M nuclear reactor is highly desirable.
