Job Summary: As a Window and Door Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, replacement, and maintenance of windows and doors at residential and commercial job sites. This role ensures products are installed safely, accurately, and according to manufacturer specifications while providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, replace, and maintain windows and doors according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety procedures.
  • Accurately measure and prepare openings to ensure proper fit and installation.
  • Remove existing windows and doors and prepare job sites for new installations.
  • Properly seal, insulate, and finish installations to help prevent air and water infiltration.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations.
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, proper operation, and quality workmanship.
  • Identify and troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members throughout the installation process.
  • Protect customer property and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Complete required paperwork and installation documentation accurately and on time.
  • Load, unload, handle, and transport windows, doors, tools, and installation materials as needed.
  • Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from customer locations and job sites.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience with window, door, building material, construction, or related installation work required.
  • Experience installing, replacing, and/or repairing residential or commercial windows and doors.
  • Knowledge of proper measuring, fitting, sealing, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and the ability to operate them safely.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve installation issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
