Doo-Dah Diner, a small locally owned restaurant in Wichita, KS, is on the hunt for a highly skilled Line Cook to join our dedicated culinary team. Here, we don’t just fill bellies; we aim to nourish souls! With a lively atmosphere and opportunities for growth, this is the perfect place for passionate food lovers to shine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, and chopping.
- Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen staff.
- Follow recipes and ensure presentation specifications are met.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Store food and items properly, monitoring stock levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience (diner experience preferred).
- Able to lift 30 lbs and work 10-hour shifts.
- Reliable transportation and a self-motivating attitude.
- Must be a team player who can handle the chaos of busy shifts.
