Site Safety Manager Champion Field Safety for Innovative Industrial Builds

The Opportunity You will be the primary guardian of field safety, working directly alongside crews to secure the well-being of every team member on-site. This role is designed for a proactive leader who thrives in the field and wants to influence the safety culture of the world's leading dome builder.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Maintain a constant field presence to identify physical hazards and monitor team behaviors in real-time.

  • Collaborate with the VP of Safety to develop and implement new training solutions that improve performance.

  • Lead comprehensive post-incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.

  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for high-risk construction phases to establish effective mitigation strategies.

  • Partner with field employees to find practical solutions that balance rigorous safety standards with operational goals.

  • Monitor site layout and logistics to prevent congestion and maintain clear, safe work zones.

  • Facilitate engaging toolbox talks and informal briefings to reinforce a safety-first mindset daily.

  • This role is in the field, you will be out shoulder to shoulder with everyone making sure that safety standards are being met daily. You will only be in the office 20-30% of the time.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Safety, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing technical safety training programs for field crews.

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and specialized areas including Fall Protection and Equipment Training.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 years of related experience in civil or heavy industrial construction environments.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is considered a significant asset.

  • Certified OSHA Outreach Instructor or specialized Equipment Trainer credentials.
