Team members work closely with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, helping them socialize and stay active throughout the day. Role Description The Doggy Daycare Office Attendant is a part-time, on-site role located in North Yarmouth, ME. This role includes greeting clients and dogs, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and maintaining accurate records of reservations, vaccinations, and attendance. The attendant responds to phone calls and emails, schedules appointments, processes payments, and provides updates to clients about their dogsโ€™ day. Daily tasks also include coordinating with the daycare floor staff, assisting with intake forms, maintaining a clean and organized reception and office space, and helping ensure safety and compliance with daycare policies. The role requires consistent, professional communication and a friendly, calm presence in a busy, dog-centered environment. Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in Day Care environments, with an understanding of routines, safety, and supervision.
  • Background in Childcare or similar caregiving roles, demonstrating patience, responsibility, and attention to individual needs.
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Development or animal behavior concepts that support structured, nurturing care settings.
  • Effective Communication skills, including professional phone, email, and in-person interactions with clients and team members.
  • Comfort and experience Working With Children or animals, with the ability to remain calm, observant, and responsive in active settings.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, recordkeeping, and handling confidential information.
  • Basic computer proficiency for managing reservations, client records, and payment systems.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods, and to interact safely with dogs of various sizes.
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work consistent part-time hours, including afternoon hours until close of business.
  • Prior experience in pet care, veterinary, or customer service settings is beneficial but not required.
