Designed where nature meets elegance, this thoughtfully developed property will offer travelers a serene retreat that blends breathtaking views with modern comforts and elevated outdoor living.

Upon opening, Lost Lake RV Resort will feature over 190 RV sites, 9 beautifully appointed cabins, and 7 scenic campsites. Guests will enjoy resort-style pools, fire pits, a splash pad, cabanas, pool yard games, and convenient dog washing stations. The clubhouse will showcase a signature Airstream bar on the back patioโ€”creating a vibrant gathering space for connection and community.

Sustainability is foundational to the resortโ€™s vision. Through rainwater collection systems, repurposing native rock, and conservation efforts that have preserved 1,000+ trees, Lost Lake RV Resort is being developed with environmental stewardship at its core.

This role plays an essential part in supporting the day-to-day upkeep of the resort, including maintaining facilities, grounds, utilities, and amenities while delivering exceptional service to both guests and team members.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of CRRโ€™s resorts. They conduct site and building maintenance repairs and are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, equipment, and various utility systems. The Maintenance Technician provides excellent customer service to prospective and current guests and residents and assist with site setups to ensure timely arrivals and departures of resort guests and residents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Resort Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs throughout the resort, including rental homes, guest accommodations, facilities, infrastructure, and common areas.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to ensure a safe, functional, and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Complete pre-arrival and post-departure inspections of rental homes and resort sites, documenting physical condition and identifying any maintenance needs or damage.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities, equipment, and grounds to proactively identify and address maintenance concerns.

Grounds & Landscaping

  • Maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of the resort in accordance with company standards, ensuring grounds are clean, attractive, and is guest-ready.
  • Perform lawn and landscape maintenance, including mowing, weed trimming, edging, raking leaves, planting flowers and shrubs, applying mulch, wood chips, or decorative stone, and trimming trees, hedges, and shrubbery.
  • Execute comprehensive weed control programs through the safe application of approved herbicides and landscaping treatments to maintain healthy, manicured grounds.
  • Remove fallen branches, storm debris, and other hazards resulting from adverse weather conditions.

Resort Cleanliness & Appearance

  • Ensure all common areas, streets, sidewalks, and public spaces remain clean, orderly, and free of litter, debris, and safety hazards.
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout the resort, including common areas, pet stations, and dog parks, as needed.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional appearance throughout the property that reflects the resort's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Amenities & Recreational Facilities

  • Clean and maintain resort amenities, including clubhouses, offices, restrooms, bathhouses, laundry facilities, maintenance areas, pools, sports courts, playgrounds, and other recreational facilities.
  • Conduct routine inspections of playground equipment, sports courts, pool and spa areas, and other guest amenities to ensure they are safe, operational, and in excellent condition.
  • Perform minor repairs and coordinate larger repairs as needed to minimize disruptions to guests.

Pool Operations (Where Applicable)

  • Monitor and maintain resort pools and spas in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Test and record chemical levels, adjust water chemistry as necessary, and ensure pool areas remain clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain resort vehicles, maintenance tools, landscaping equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Safely transport supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the resort.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines while performing maintenance duties.
  • Regularly inspect streets, sidewalks, and public access routes to ensure they remain free from hazards, rocks, debris, and unsafe conditions.
  • Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures when handling chemicals, equipment, vehicles, and maintenance tools.
  • Assist with emergency response, storm preparation, and recovery efforts as needed.

Schedule & Team Support

  • Maintain flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call shifts as business needs require.
  • Support other departments and assist with special projects to help ensure the overall success and operation of the resort.
