We provide comprehensive guide dog services and orientation and mobility training, equipping individuals with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in planning, executing, andย optimizingย digitalย marketing initiatives that advance Leader Dog's mission. This position isย responsible forย managing campaign workflows, coordinating cross-functional marketing activitiesย with internal and external partners,ย creating engaging digital content, and owning day-to-day social media executionย toย elevateย Leader Dogโ€™s digital presence and reputation in a way that alignsย with our mission.ย This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.ย The Digital Marketing Manager will invest time in learning Leader Dogโ€™s mission, programs, audiences, brandย standardsย and accessibility practicesย through active engagement with clients, volunteers, staff, and on-campus experiences.ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign and Project Managementย 

  • Build and manage omnichannel marketing campaigns within Monday.com to supportย volunteer engagement,ย fundraising,ย contentย initiatives, event promotion, and other strategic priorities.ย 
  • Maintain and update multiple project boards simultaneously, ensuring all stakeholders have visibility into timelines and deliverables.ย 
  • Proactively manage deadlines, follow up with internal teams and external partners.

Social Media Managementย ย 

  • Draft, edit, and publish social media content across all Leader Dog social media accounts,ย maintainingย a consistent voice, tone, and high standardย forย accessibility andย mission alignment.ย 
  • Manage andย maintainย the social media publishing calendar within Sprout Social, ensuring all posts are scheduled in alignment with campaign timelines.ย 
  • Monitor scheduledย contentย andย community engagement.ย 
  • Use campaign and platform performance data toย identifyย trends, recommend optimizations, and support continuous improvement across digital initiatives.ย 

Content Creation and Creative Supportย 

  • Collaborate with internalย and external partnersย toย recommend contentย and storytelling approaches that support campaignย objectives, audience growth,ย fundraising efforts, and brand awareness.
  • Createย accessible,ย engaging photo and video content to support social media and bring forward ideas to support engagement and campaign performance.
  • Ensure the accessibility of all social media content through captions, descriptions, and alt-textย 
  • Capture contentย on the Leader Dog campus andย in the field as needed, including events, programs, and mission-driven moments.ย 
  • Edit video and photo assets using industry-standard tools.ย 
  • Adapt content for multiple channels and formats, ensuringย brandย consistency.ย 
  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in digital content creation.ย 
  • Research, test, and help implement AI-assisted marketing tools and workflow enhancements that improve content creation, campaign execution, reporting, personalization, accessibility, and operational efficiency.ย 

Digital Advertising Supportย ย 

  • In collaboration withย Leader Dog'sย marketing agency, help develop integrated digital advertising strategies that support volunteer recruitment, clientย recruitment, fundraising initiatives, event promotion, and organizational awareness goals.ย 
  • Review and provide feedback onย advertisingย creative, messaging, landing pages, and campaign assets to ensure alignment with brand standards and organizational priorities.ย 
  • Help coordinate digital advertising efforts with social media, email marketing, content, and broader campaign activities to create cohesive audience experiences.ย 
  • Assistย in managing campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring agency partners have the information needed for successful execution.ย 

Internal collaborationย ย 

  • Collaborate regularly and proactivelyย with stakeholdersย and industry expertsย across the organization.ย 
  • Pivot quickly betweenย priorities and projects,ย utilizingย project management tools to stay organized and share information.ย 
  • Partner with philanthropy team to support nationalย awareness andย fundraising strategy.ย 
  • 4โ€“7 yearsโ€™ experience in digital marketing, communications, content marketing, or a related field.ย 
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies, consultants, or marketing vendors.ย 
  • Experience developing and analyzing digital marketing performance metrics and campaign results.ย 
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including hands-on use of Monday.com or similar tools.ย 
  • Experience managing and executing social media content using platforms such as Sprout Social.ย 
  • Experience creating and editing photo and video content for social media; familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro,ย CapCut, or similar) and emerging technologies such as AI-assisted content tools.ย

  • This position may be required to be on campus when deemed necessary at the direction of management.ย 
  • Possess sound business judgment, exercise professional conduct, understand and follow business ethics and standards, and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all duties.ย 
  • Must be willing to travel.ย 
  • Must be comfortable with and willing to work around large dogs.ย 
  • Willing to perform general public relations duties on behalf of Leader Dog (perform tours, answer general questions, be a professional and courteous representative of Leader Dog, etc.).ย 
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional, productive, and courteous interactions with employees that promote positive teamwork, as well as with volunteers, donors, clients, and all constituents of Leader Dog. This encompasses going beyond giving and receiving instructions and includes but is not limited to (a) performing work activities requiring interacting or speaking with others; and (b) responding appropriately to constructive feedback or suggestions for improvement from a supervisor.ย
